BREAD FOR THE AGES

By: Mary Katherine Encisa

Hmmm! Freshly baked breads smells good don’t they?? It makes my tummy shout for food! It makes me wanna eat them while it’s still hot, it  makes me wanna..I can’t even...
Okay, I have a confession to make and I think it’s worth stating. The truth is..  This is my first time blogging (I don’t know why, but HEEEY! I HAVE TO TELL YOU!). Seriously. So this wonderful blog of mine has nothing to do with my real blog, you know..just trying to explain here and I find it fun (fun blogging or fun explaining? Naaah! Who knows! Why not both?! Teehee)

Medina's Bakery Delivery Truck

 SO IT GOES..

"Ever since I was little, I enjoyed eating breads because my grandma always buys Pandesal. Every morning when I wake up, I always seem to look for one."
This my friends is Medina’s Bakery, it’s located at Malagasang 2D Imus Cavite. YUP! Once upon a time, there lived a princess from a far away kingdom. This bakery is practically blocks blocks away from my home (how did I find the place? MAGIC!) but nothing can beat what I experienced there, FREE TASTE! YES! EVERYTHING IS FREE! They let me taste their products and see their working station. They’ve been around for what? Twenty two years! not bad, I think that proves them right and they sell quite a variety of breads, cakes...and stuffs.

Stuffs...you know, as a local bakery and this is Philippines it is what’s “USO.” They also sell softdrinks, instant noodles, shampoos and the like though I don’t find it weird or wrong because I grew up seeing bakeries selling those kind of stuffs. (you know what I mean *winks*)

Well, from pandesal to mamon and crinkles to cakes they also sell odd-sounding breads like Putok, Kababayan and Pianono. Of course I have to taste them, and what do you know! they tastes good and not so pricey unlike the others and on top of that, they also do deliveries!  Here’s the list of of some their products:
